Phil Higgins

Hi, I'm Phil Higgins! I am a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa, who loves sharing stories through music. My music is best described as  Indie/Alt-Pop (at the moment) and I mix elements of soulful RnB and Folk. I have a lot to say and I don't like being put in a box - it makes me feel claustrophobic. Music is where I let go. I have no inhibitions when I write and I have allowed myself to be exactly what comes naturally to me through my music. I also love creating my own cover art! I hope that my colourful, quirky (sassy) world, with lyrical mantras, anthemic songs of self-worth and melodies right from my heart will allow you to feel whatever it is you need to feel, embrace where you are and feel liberated to be whomever you want to be. 

One thing you should know about me is that I stand by the following saying: ''I have better things to do than to sit and look pretty for you'' This message is pretty much at the core of everything that I stand for and write about.
